Shortbread Molds Can I Cook Shortbread In A Pyrex Casserole Dish Instead Of A Shortbread Mold?

Can I cook shortbread in a pyrex casserole dish instead of a shortbread mold? - shortbread molds

I do not know want to or do not have time to buy a stove for cooking butter butter cookies for Christmas, and I wonder whether a Pyrex casserole dish will do. And if so, I must add a bit of foil or bread can taste of butter Spay? Any advice THXz

You can, but be careful. Cover with aluminum foil would be a good idea. The problem is that the glass is thick and can sometimes lead to things that are brown on the outside removed before cooking. With a metal pan, the heat is reflected directly in the food, but a glass absorbs heat. Slightly lower cooking temperature and coat the pan with aluminum foil (and then sprayed with Pam) will make a big difference.

Yes, but never to grease the pan. Butter cake is almost half the weight, as it is. Be careful not burned. You can also use the dough forms first or the development of biscuits with Russian pulp and butter cookies.

Why not just the first cut sandblasted and put it lay on a baking sheet. This way is much simpler and can be cut into Christmas shapes
